04 A Mantle The Sea
A home grown rock band from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia - formed by 4 church friends who wanted to make their own kind of music. They call themselves "A Mantle The Sea" a phrase picked from an old Christian hymn. Already released an EP, they were working hard at their second album last summer when Vignettes’ photographer Tommy Tze caught them in studio, making mid-tempo rock. The images here show these musicians as they are, rock stars in the making.
